FIGHTIN' & FIREWORKS!

Gigi came to visit for the 4th of July. We took Quentin to see a movie...

complete with a big tub of popcorn, candy and drink. We all had a blast.

Though we missed the fireworks display, the neighbors put on quite a show!

My good friend Jennifer put together a Girl's Day Out! She planned, booked, scheduled and orchestrated for months. Finally on July 19th, ten excited ladies were chaufurred from Nashville to Atlanta to see The Color Purple! We dined on quiche, sausage balls, fruit, cheese, mimosas and snacks down the road chatting and laughing all the way. Throughout the play, we laughed, cried and quoted lines from the memorable movie. It was truly a wonderful event!

Once again, we were at the Y all summer for Swim Lessons. Quentin loves the water and looks forward to his Saturday lesson! Miss Jasmine did a great job with all the kids, teaching them to float, kick and go under water.

After 2 Saturdays of torture and trauma, Ash decided he was better served

on 'dry land' and opted to hang out with other toddlers playing and eating snacks!

Maybe next summer for Ash.

Happy Birthday Q!

Hello Summer! We kicked it off good-fashion with Q's 4th birthday bash.

Before the big party, Quentin was presented with his gift...his first bicycle! Gigi (Lisa Ayers) gave it to him when he was 2 and he's finally grown into it!

Ash decides to takes the four wheeler for a test drive!

We celebrated this year at Bounce U with friends and classmates. Theme was Lightning McQueen...again!

Pals Torin and Mason Baker were definitely in the spot! Q, Torin and Ash check out the Lightning McQueen cake. "Yeah, it's good. Let 'em eat cake!"

School pals enjoy the bouncing fun and pizza.

Quentin and Torin take to the bounce slide. Amari and Amani are fabulous!

Lightning McQueen is always cool!
