Trip to Louisville

We took a trip to Louisville to pay tribute to our dear Aunt Eliza, Chris' aunt. Though it was a sad occassion, it's always great to see the family!

Eva Flowers (Chris' mom)

The boys got a chance to spend time with their favorite and only first cousin, John.

From the mouths of Babes!

Generational Gap

As we walked into Publix, Quentin asks, "Mommy what's that?"

"A phone!" I answered as we grabbed a race car buggy.

"Why is it on the wall?" he replied.

"In case someone needs to make a phone call" I say.

He thought for a minute and said..."How will they fit it in their purse?"

I really feel old!

Go White SHARKS!

Fall soccer has started and Quentin's team, "White Lightning" is showing lots of promise early on! The first game was Saturday. Quentin played lots of defense and is the fastest runner on the team! He scored one goal and had an assist. We are so proud.

Note: Daddy doing some sideline coaching in background!

It was also Ash's first soccer game as well (as a spectator).
He cheered big brother on and got so excited...
he took to the field to show his stuff!
I think we have a future soccer player in the making.
The kid's got skills!
