Are you ready for some SOCCER?!

The Flowers boys are! Quentin was about to pop with excitement getting ready to play with the Grey Wolves team. This season they start playing with Goalies! Ash started his rookie season with the Tigers.

Ash started his Rookie season with the Tigers team!

With a little encouragement and coaching..he had a great season and scored a few goals!

Go BIG or Go Home!!

It was a BIG weekend. Friday Quentin started "Big School" as a Kindergartener at Harpeth Valley Elementary! We've all been so excited waiting for this day. Grandma, Mr. Henry, Aunt Jeanette and John came down to help Q and Ash get off to a good start.

On Saturday we had a family outing and went to the Nashville Sounds baseball game.

On Monday, Ash moved up to the "Big Class" at Nashville Christian School. See him showing off his backpack?!

Ash gives his old pal Carla a hug at Open House on Sunday.

Monday was also Quentin's first day riding the bus to school...yes the bus! Dad walked him down to the pool to see him off!

A Day in the Garden

Our sweet neighbor from Belize is an excellent gardener. She has a beautiful garden with tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, blueberries and canteloupe. She even has a peach tree! Last week, Mrs. Yvonne came over and got the boys so they can go pick blueberries. So off we went with our bowls to pick blueberries. I even channelled my inner-Julia Childs and baked blueberry turnovers! So good.

Mrs. Yvonne shows the boys how how to pick berries. Ash stops for a taste.

The boys show off their harvest, then smell sweet basil and rosemary from the herb garden.

Can't wait til the peaches are ripe. Beautiful blueberries!
Not so bad for a first try. The turnovers were yummy!

Happy Birthday Q!

Turning 5 is a big deal! We were all set to do it up big with a party at the Zoo at Grassmere. Unfortunately, the rainy weather sent us scrambling for a new (indoor) venue last minute. So back to Bounce U we went! It was a great end of school year party for Quentin and his friends.

Speed racer cake with strawberry filling was delish!

Torin Baker and Myles Pollard catch up.

Mason Baker gives Ash a few pointers before his big slide!
Alex and Adam Thompson had a blast. Q introduces Torin to his pal Madison (the Ninja).

The Graduate!

I cannot believe my baby is graduating PreK and going to Kindergarten! Nashville Christian School really put on a great program. The kids did a "3 Pig Opera"! It was very dramatic and the kids looked adorable in their pig "costumes" they made. After the Opera, all the kids got changed into their caps and gowns to walk across the stage and get their diplomas!(yes, they really got diplomas. They called the kids by their whole name and announced what they wanted to be when they grew up. My son...yeah he wants to be a Dirt Bike Driver! Shoot for the stars Q!

Strike a pose with the diploma.Daddy's so proud.

The little piggies are soooo cute!

Quentin and Nathan smile for the camera. Megan, the Ninja!

Golf Anyone?

Quentin got a set of golf clubs for his birthday. And in great "Chris Fashion", he gave them to him early (about 2 weeks)!

A round of popcicles on me at the 19th hole!

Q gets a little instruction before he takes a swing.

Ash even got a little play set to practice with.
